R-S-V- not my friend

RSV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if having sick kids since October wasnt bad enough Layna was diagnosed with RSV last Tuesday. I have never seen her so miserable and unactive since she was laying in the incubator. It was so hard to see her so sick. Took her to the doctor Tuesday was diagnosed but by Thursday morning I had seen no improvment and she still had a fever. I called the doctor and they told me to take her to Primary Childrens for a chest x ray. So Brandon, me and the girls went up there and finally talked to a doctor who did the x ray, they deep suctioned her, which if you havnet ever seen is so hard to watch your child, but we were about to be sent home they just wanted to check her oxygen levels once more. She was about 85 when normal is 94-96. she was not ok....they put oxygen on her and said we needed to be admitted into the hospital....about 2 2-1/2 hours later we finally got a room. Lets just say we went through a lot at the hospital bunch of medication, oxygen and time laying in bed with this sick little girl.....WOW is she a fighter though.....she gets through anything she comes up against... We were discharrged Sunday night at 6:15 started to drive home and couldnt find and pharmacys open, but when I was almost home found a Walgreens open on 21st so went back there and waited more than an hour for her prescriptions then finally got home.....CAM HUGGED LAYNA SO MUCH>>>MELTED MY HEART! they missed each other so much....we did video chat a couple times from the hospital so they could see each other. Last thing to do that night was get oxygen set up. Called the guy and he was in Payson and that it would be a couple hours....it was already 9:00 luckily someone else was at my house by 10:00 when she was starting to fall asleep.Tonight should be our last night on oxygen im crossing my fingers it is and we can get healthy and be done with this VIRUS!!!!

CAMBRIE---- i think had RSV but a very small case of it....she was never tested but her lungs and cough made me to believe she did....took her to Alta View to be deep suctioned...remember not a fun thing! but she is feeling better as well..... please sun come out

here are some pictures.....love you

December-
Was a good month besides the sicknesses.... I love everything about Christmas and the season it was fun to be around the girls and all of the decor and love....The girls got a horrible stomach virus that lasted 10 days clear into Christmas :( It was horrible and I hope to not have one of those outbreaks anytime soon....They gave it to me the day before my birthday and I was feeling so awful. Im glad my birthday ended up pretty decent with time with friends and family. Christmas Eve was very fun after we were done visiting the doctor. I love going to Grandma and Grandpa Burgons house and all the tradition there. I dropped the girls off with there dad that night and they spent Christmas and the weekend with him and his family in town from Texas. They came home Sunday and opened their gifts from my family....They love!!! the kitchen my dad bought...Thanks dad the tradition lives on....

January.....
more colds and coughs and trips to the doctor....these girls have been hit hard this winter im hating it.....January was a very tough month for me....Trying to get my children better, trying to organize my life for the new year, trying to co parent with someone that is not my spouse, school, work, twin terrors but my pride and joy, things got too overwhelming for me and I was pretty depressed. I got stuck in a rut and was not able to pull myself out. I want what is best for my family and I try so hard to have everything perfect for my girls and its just not that way all the time.....

February.....
Things have started turning around....resolved a lot of what was bothering and disrupting my time and feeling a lot better this month than I did last month..... more appts Cam went to the dentist on the 8th what a trooper I love their dental office so cute for kids.....Layna goes on the 22nd they need separte appts too much for me and 2 two year olds at the dentist....our development lady came to do their last evaluation and I am so happy with the progress and where they are at....most things their age they have already been doing and things meant for a couple months from now they are doing as well....makes a mom so grateful when I know how much we have been through that they are learning and can learn just fine....I hope the rest of the month goes better from now on....ill post about recent activities in a min :)
