Christmas with the family is so much fun!! The girls got their new Christmas pajamas to wear Christmas Eve. Christmas morning was so fun. The girls didnt really care about opening the presents but loved playing with the toys after and playing with ripped up wrapping paper!!! Their dad was their and got to see and play with them in the morning which they loved. We went to the neighbors house later morning like we always do and had fun playing their new Wii. We had Italian sausage for dinner like we always do. It was so good!!! Its been a good weekend home with all the family!!

Trying to get to Santa!!!

THe girls and I tried to go see Santa last night and it was like an hour and a half wait.....I was not about to wait that long when it was getting later. The girls are actually a little weird with stranger men anyway and I dont know if they would have liked Santa this year....We are really excited for our first Christmas with both the girls home from the hospital. The girls dad is going to spend the night with us so he can see the girls open their presents Christmas morning....I have some pictures from the mall last night.....the girls looked really cute!!

Build a Bear

So I really feel that it is so weird that I have one year old little girls but it is even crazier that one of my best friends has a 4 year old....Kennedy had her 4th birthday party last Saturday and my girls were invited to go to build a bear with her and her friends. My babies made cute little bears!!! Im so excited for Thanksgiving and so grateful that this year that my babies are home with me and not in the hospital.....we will have a good time with our neighbors!!! I hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving!!!

MY BABIES ARE ONE!!!

I cannot believe that a year has passed since these 2 little girls came into the world!!! The beginning was very rouch and extremely hard on me but to be a year later and the girls are doing fabulous!!! They are both so close to waking makes me so excited. Their birthday was a lot of fun! They spent Friday night with their dad and celebrated with him and came home Saturday morning and played till their party....The girls looked so cute and got lots of fun presents that they love....Cambrie did better with wanting to play and eat cake....Layna not so much I think she was tired and a little overwhelmed by all the people!!! This is their dads weekend and he is taking them to Chuck E Cheese tomorrow with his friends and family that im gonna go up to see and play with them!! Life is good and very excited for their first Thanksgiving home and first Christmas!!!

hApPy HaLLoWeEn!!!

So the girls and I had a great Halloween.....We just hung out all day and I went and waited in an hour line to vote but i did it and thats exciting!!! That night I met up with my friends CHelsie and Christy and their families and their little girls....I had my layna love bug and my cam the cow!!......we all went out trick or treating and went back to CHristys for bean dip and soup and cidar.....it was so GOOD!!!! my girls were having a great time. We came home and played around with grandma!!! THey are so cute. THey both have little colds with runny noses and little coughs but hopefully that will go away soon,....Countdown till their birthday is one week can you believe it. I also found the cutest place to get their pictures done and really excited for them....the lady is really cute and does a great job....... Thats about it for now, just keep working on the house and painting and decorating with my mom....YAY!

cRAZY cRAZY

This month has been crazy already and still stuff to come....have had lots of appts with the girls to check up on them and see how they are doing....they got flu shots not so fun.....on monday when layna woke up i went to change her and saw that her first and second toes were purple....one of my hairs got wrapped around them really tight so i broke the hair and got it off and looked at her first toe and saw another hair wrapped extremely tight around it.....i looked at the bottom of it and saw that it had cut really bad into her toe....i started crying cause i could not get this hair off so i took her to the doctor....who knew hair was so strong....the doctor said its not that uncommon they actually had nair their for that reason....he got the hairs around that toe but saw that she had lost some tissue since the cut underneath was so deep. Today we went up to the Burn Clinic at the University of Utah Hospital and they told me how to help it heal so that the toe doesnt contact when it does heal....im glad she is better but it was super scary.....getting ready for the girls 1st birthday has been fun!!! they are both starting to stand on their own for like 30 seconds!!! THEY ARE JUST ADORABLE....

Life So far....

So I finally have time to sit down and write a little bit about what is going on with my family.....I had my gall bladder out like 2 weeks ago and now trying to adjust to foods that I can eat that wont make me sick....The girls are getting SO big....they both are now saying mama and almost pretty good at saying dada.....bath time is so much fun with them in the tub and their toys.....they like to wiggle around and play with each other....The girls and I just went on a little vacation with their dad and his parents to see his brother graduate college in Arizona...It was their first real road trip and it was quite the trip....13 hours of drving there the first day...the girls did better than I thought they would....We had fun though....Cam learned she can drink out of a straw and she LOVES it....we got to see Hoover Dam which was cool since id never seen it before....My mom surprised me and painted the girls room purple while we were away...The girls had been sleeping out by me and now finally big enough to sleep in their own room..ive started to decorate a little but have some more to go....They are 10 months old and just finishing their room....kinda funny....we have have some quite eventful last couple of weeks and I cant wait for their Birthday and the holidays to come!!!
