I seem to write monthy for the most part so here is what happened in November:
well NOVEMBER 8 was the girls 2nd birthday! I was super stressed about the party on November 7th cause a lot of people had other things going on and was thinking about not really doing anything and just hang with family but I decided to keep with our FINDING NEMO theme and threw the party. Out of nowhere people showed up and it ended up being a great day! Ate yummy food, Nemo was playing in the background, hung out everyone played around it was so much fun! Thank you all for coming! On their actual birthday we went to church and hung out until their dad and his family all came down for presents and cake. Brandon got them custom rocking chairs that are so adorable! We all had a great time catching up and playing with the girls and all their new toys. Second birthday was a success. I really cant believe I have 2 year olds. I am so blessed for them and all they do. Its been definietly a new chapter with new things they do everyday. Talking more, and just amazing me everyday!

On November 12th we were lucky enough to go to Disney on Ice. Brandon's parents got the 4 of us tickets to see the show for the girls birthday. Brandons dad works for the Salt Lake FIre Marshall and was working at the event and was able to talk to a friend and moving our seats to row one. We were on soft chairs and only had one other row in front of us. We were right in the action and it was amazing. It was all the disney princesses and I LOVED IT....girls did good to the very end....they were tired but loved it as well!
On November 20th we went up to Logan to go to a USU game, hangout with my sister and see some friends. IT WAS COLD! the game was at night but the girls loved it....loved the band when it played and when people would cheer so would they! Saturday got to spend a good chuck of the day with my sister which was great! She is an awesome aunt to my little girls. She had a ball to go to that night so I took the girls over to my friends house and hung out
Besides that I have been working, school and hanging out with the little ones. Its now close to finals and time to get all that studying done. Oh im ready for that little break!!

Yay I got to finally see some of the girls pictures!!
I took the girls on the 12th to get their 2 year pictures done at Wheeler Farm. Keli B is the sweetest lady and I could have not asked for a better photographer! I have been waiting to see some of the pictures on her blog and my friend texted me saying how cute their pictures were so I had to run to the computer. They turned out amazing!!!
As for life these days.....Im really over everyone being sick and the stupid swine flu. I know its the season but really EVERYONE is sick! Last week the daycare called and said a little one quite possibly has swine so then I started freaking out because they were already sick. Took them to the doctor which I was planning on because they were still sick and they both have double ear infections...GREAT NO SWINE!....so we are on antibiotics for them and should be gone soon.... the great thing about being around sick little girls is I got sick too....Im feeling better which is good....now just getting ready for these little girls to turn 2! I cant believe that they are so big....im loving it!!!

i looked at the computer so many times until I finally got the energy to write this big blog!!!!
So....... i know how bad i have been at blogging and every time i think to blog I know how far I have to go back and I give up before I even get started....well here it goes....
end of JULY....
So our family trip to California was simply amazing!!! I couldn't have asked for a better trip with all of my family. It was the first time my girls had been to California and just so excited to be around all my extended family and have them meet my little ladies.... Some highlights of the trip were:
Old Town My aunt Marsha and uncle Rudy had came down and we went to sea port village and walked around that was fun....we also went to Old Town and ate at an AWESOME mexican restaurant that i have gone since i was little. There are little ladies in the window making fresh tortillas and they love looking at my girls.....
Seaworld....we LOVE shamu!!! It was so fun being there i have not been there in so long and the girls LOVE animals so they had the best time.....My daddy got the girls their first pearls. My sister and my dad picked them out of the water just like i did when i was young. That will be a fun thing to share with them!
Another day activity was the San Diego Zoo. I had only been there once with my sister, cousin and aunt when i was younger so i was happy to get to go again. The bus tour around the whole park was awesome got to see everything! Had some snacks and were off to see the pandas. Julie and i were so looking forward to seeing them because we didnt have the opportunity to last time we had gone.... we were a little disappointed to find only 2 pandas that were asleep. One woke up for 2 mins as we watched him go to the bathroom....11 years for that??? but girls just loved it. Wish Hogle Zoo was as big!
BEACH days were lovely....we had the bay outside our back porch and the beach 5 mins walk away...the girls love the sand and made so many friends while playing in it. My aunt Marsha had got them some beach toys and we made things and played in the water. At the beach Cam was fearless when it came to the waves.....Layna like the water around her ankles but would freak out when the tide would go out....pretty fun to watch.....I can not believe how social my children are with strangers...at the beach a they talked to everyone especially men! haha but came would walk up to girls and take their food and almost their drinks....too funny
Camarella BBQ I was so excited for this. Not all my family had met my girls and I hadnt seen some of them in quite some time. I loved seeing all my dad's side of the family. When we get together you know one thing will be there and it will be amazing.....THE FOOD.... these Sicilians can COOk and i love it.....oh gosh it is just so good i can not describe to you!! played in the sand....boys played bocce ball... ate....family movies....lemon cake....my favorite and best memory of my grandma helen!! it was a great night
Paradise Point I bet you are sick of me saying all these things that remind me of being a kid but its true a lot of the trip did and Paradise Point Resort is some of the best memories ever....we used to get a room in the same spot year after year with the same pond and pool...it was great.... feeding the ducks is such a highlight....we bring bunny food a huge big bag to feed them....barefoot bar....all of it is so much fun...well it was my sisters 19th birthday and she really wanted to go over there.....went and fed the ducks, went and looked around barefoot bar, one of the girls threw their baby in the water...my dad had to fetch it out...lol and went to where we always stayed and took a reenactment picture...so cute.... we left there and went to the mall so Julie could go shopping....she found some cute stuff.... we went back to the house and took and hung out then went to a great authentic Italian res truant for dinner....i think Julie had a great birthday in Cali ....
We left San Diego and went and Spent the night in Upland at my aunt Marshas...... we went to the mexican restaurant she works at....it has the best chips and salsa....bean and cheese burritos....shirley temples....ok everything there is so good!!! beats any mexican place in utah for sure!!! we hung out that night and drove home the next day....WOW such a great vacation!!!

AUGUST
The end of the summer came really fast.... We hung out went to the park...did dinners with old friends....went to the pool.... just enjoyed each other before I started school and work. Trying to get all of the daycare and work schedule set and ready to go was a headache. It paid off though. On the 21st I went in and trained for my new job. I work for Dr. Steven Parkin at his dentist office. I am the receptionist and assist with various things. Had a lot to learn that Friday but the girl whos job I was replacing made a great Employee Handbook for me to go back to. I started the next week on the 25th. My boss was pretty impressed with me and liked caught on so quickly. I am pretty amazed that I have done so well and havent made too many mistakes...Tuesday was the worst day of all....I think I had forgotten my brain at home...I also started school the 26th of August. So far everything has gone pretty well with that. My first time down to the testing center was not too enjoyable but im learning....its a new school different ways of doing things.....
DAYCARE: Since I started working the girls have gone to their daycare out of a lady's home in Sandy. Her name is Peggy and the girls love to say her name. They have had a lot of fun and have lots of things to do and play with there. Some mornings are better than others when dropping them off but i found if i tell them to close the door to the room for me as im walking out they think its funny and dont cry. Little Layna has been a little clingy lately and a total mommies girl. Which breaks my heart some mornings when she REALLY doesnt want me to leave. They both are fine after 5 mins and off to play with something.
SEPTEMBER
A lot of school and work has been going on. Playing with my girls at home a lot. This last month they have turned into such little ladies. Its hilarous. Totally getting into the independent stage. Dressing themselves, brushing their own teeth, going down the stairs on their own....its pretty cute to watch. They also have started talking a lot more. These girls have talked so much in their own language together I was wondering when I would start hearing more human words. They are finally doing it....I come in to wake them up and ask where is their vitamin which I already have in my hand. lol My mom was watching them the other day while I was at school and they had gone to bed but had woken up and my mom went down and had put them in the same crib for a min and they were laying there and Layna lifted her head and Cam and took her hand and pushed Laynas head back down telling her "HEAD DOWN LAYNA." It would have been so funny to see.
I dont really know what else to blog about at the moment and this this is a novel like always so ill keep up with the blogs cause I hate having to do these catch up ones!!!

babysitting....airplanes....a bug...and pudding
Ok so it has been about a month since i last blogged so here is our life since then.....June was quite a busy month for us.....the beginning was pretty regular for us and just hung out and played a lot....then our neighbors went on vacation so the girls and i went over and stayed 10 days at their house while i watched their 3 girls and my 2....wow all i can say was the bigger the family the louder it is....we dont have a whole lot of noise at our house....yes the girls can get a little loud at times but to add 3 pre teen to teenage girls to the mix things were pretty crazy in a good way.... they are like my little sisters and love taking care of my girls....they have real life baby dolls to play with.....
well we finished that on the 27th of June and then had to pack some stuff and get them ready for their trip to texas with their dad....the last couple days i was babysitting Layna had a pretty good fever for what we are used to. It started on that Wednesday night..... she was fine after some tylenol but woke up with another fever.... you can tell she didnt feel good by the look on her face and her allowing you to just cuddle on her....she usually is too busy running around to allow you to do that....the tylenol had helped Thursday as well but Friday morning she woke up with another fever so i called the doctor and they had me bring her in.....the doc said her throat was inflamed a little and they checked for strep but it cameback negative so i was to just watch her.....she still looked so sad and she would walk around crying that she didnt feel good so sunday she still looked horrible and i knew she was going on a plane so i took her to the doctor again noticing right before we get there that she has a rash on her stomach,back and some on her face...the doctor said the rash was a good sign meaning that since her fevers had broken the rash was a sign she was getting better and that she did...the rash only lasted a couple days and then she was perfectly fine...always seems to be miss layna....
so wednesday july 1st i met up with the girls and the johnsons to say goodbye and take pictures of their first time on an airplane....i had gone a little crazy the week before because i was not the one packing for the trip brandon was and i was trying to make sure he had everything,,,, im the kind of girl that is very organized when i travel and it was hard to take a back seat to that but finally i did cause i knew brandon would get everything they needed..... the girls loved the airport because they had so much to look at!!! i took some pictures, helped with some luggage and said a VERY QUICK goodbye and off they went (they were running a little behind.) I just sat and watched them go through security....my dad was there to help....he got such a kick out of it!!! brandons mom was so cute and yelled back at me that everything will be ok....this was the longest i had been away from them and wow it was weird.... it was too quiet and i found myself quite bored at times...i did get some good relaxation time in and lots of time by the pool and hanging out with good friends.... but i missed them so much!!! the 4th was so weird without them...my good friends sat with their kids and watched fireworks and all i wanted were my girls but it was still a fun day....( my dad had made amazing italian sausage which always puts me in a good mood!) the girls were gone a week and on wednesday the 8th i went to the airport....(man do i hate driving there....i am always in the wrong lane and freak myself out) but i went and picked them up and they were so cute and tired from a long day....i was SO happy to have them back!!!
THey came home Wednesday and THursday night my sister got very sick by like 8 pm and by 11 pm i had gotten the same thing....throwing up like no tomorrow.... i felt so horrible....that Friday morning Cam had finally woken up and my mom went in to get her and she had gotten sick in her crib too....half the house was on their death bed.... brandon was taking them for the weekend and it took everything i had to get them ready to go see him and drive to salt lake and meet up with him....that stupid bug got my mom a little bit with my dad and pretty much my entire neighbors house.... it was the strangest thing....and brandon did get it sunday because the girls had given it to him.... Layna was a lucky one and never got it...cross my fingers....
Now this week....been getting over that dumb bug....last night my moms bank did a kick off party for the harry potter for friends and family and clients of the bank at the Megaplex THeathers.... My mom, sister, her friend Cato and I went out to the one in daybreak to watch the movie...its quite a cute event and my mom even had to say some things....she is too funny....the movie was kinda blah to me....its my least favorite out of all and i know some people might be saying im crazy...im no fanatic of harry potter but have seen and enjoyed every movie.....and now we are getting ready and packing for CALIFORNIA on Saturday....I am beyond excited for my family to go.....beach house in San Diego for a week or so....Sea WOrld the Zoo...extended family we havent seen in forever....it will be a great vacation.....
well i think now i am caught up with one of the biggest blogs i have done!!!

Life is SIMPLY aMaZiNg!!!
This week is shaping up to be getting better and better!!! Im so happy summer is here!!! Memorial Day was fun, we relaxed most of the day and then had a bbq with our adopted family the Burgons that night!! THe girls and I got to swim at my friend Amandas Apt pool last week and it was so much fun....i got these little floaty things and they look so cute in them!!! I actually GOT A JOB yesterday! I dont start till mid August but im going to to be doing a recepionist and assisting job for a dental office part time. It is going to go great for me and having to do school....I keep seeing all these awesome photographers take awesome pictures out at Saltair at an old train and building and i had the inkling to try and hunt it down so i could take pics of the girls there....well thanks to the internet i found where it should be and took Juli and my girls out there and Juli being so naturally talented she got some of the best pictures she has done....I love them!!! SO i decided i have a lot of pictures and dont want to post them all on here so im gonna puts links to my Memorial day, Pool day and Photoshoot albums so you all can see them if you havent already.....life is just so great right now!!! ready for whats next

A little catch up....
I haven't posted in a little bit so let me think what has been going on.....its been mainly me tryin to get this semester over with and now it officially is! and i am happy to say i have an ASSOCIATES DEGREE FROM SNOW COLLEGE....dont worry on ly took 4 years...after the girls came i kept having to push it back but its an accomplishment for me for sure....im now going to go to UVU and get a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with an Emphasis in Finance and Banking...im really excited to get that done with....another 2 years to go....My girls have grown up so fast and I cant believe it....THey are just little ladies now and im loving it....watching them play and kiss each other is so stinking cute....they are getting a little rough with one another now and im not liking that so much....need to figure out a game plan for that! Yesterday we went over to my friend Amandas house....Her apartment complex has a pond with ducks and i wanted to go see them with my girls. So we went over and fed them....It reminded me of going to the Princess Resort in San Diego....by far the best place ever but i used to feed the ducks there when i was little and loved it!!! they had a great time...i was just a little scared of them wanting to go swim in the pond! Im so excited for the summer with my girls!! last summer was fun but they are older now and will appreciate all the fun things we do a little more. Im excited for our trip to Sand Diego this July or August. The girls get to go to Sea World and THe Sand DIego Zoo and the beach its going to be so much fun!!! Well i think this is a long enough post....

Time Flies...
So I had seen a blog where a lady had posted a picture for every month for the first year of her babies life and I thought to myself I should have done that so I got on my computer and this is what i came up with.....I think its pretty cute...now i need to start the second year one!!! They are just so cute I love them...only like 2 more weeks and I will have 18 MONTH OLDS!!!

Easter!!
I think this Easter was one of my favorites in a long time......My girls actually played with their Easter baskets, loved playing with Easter eggs and my family was here......Its fun to have the italian side up here cause i learn a lot more about cooking and baking every time my aunts are here.....learned how to make this amazing jelly roll cake....did i say its amazing!!! it was just a really fun Easter this year and I loved it....
